Keep Moving Forward...
Life is full of surprises, changes, twists and turns. Since starting our business in 2014, we have continued to grow and learn new things almost on a daily basis. 2019 was the best year for us on record. We were excited for 2020 to be even bigger and better. Yes, I know we are not alone in saying that 2020 became a challenge for all of us.
2020 was definitely a year of unexpected events. We were all forced into a quarantine which put a strain on relationships, causing isolation, frustration and many suffered depression. In a way, I am personally grateful for that time as it allowed me time for myself - I exercised daily, meditated, actually wrote a book, enjoyed my surroundings and truly appreciated every day. Was it easy - no - but I became aware.
In October of 2020, we relocated back to Florida as we had family matters that required our full attention. This meant walking away from our built up business in Myrtle Beach and beginning all over again. Yes, 2021 was quite a challenge. We had been accustom to working in resorts, working Corporate Events, traveling for Trade-shows and being face to face with customers. What was next for us? It was a very trying time for us financially, business wise and several moves. Fortunately, our friend, Ashley Willis with Magic Milk Island Art, welcomed us with open arms and we began working together for a short time.
By January 2022, I finally became focused. We had moved into our permanent residence in Daytona Beach. I felt settled and ready to move forward. I am happy to say that after a year of hard work and dedication, we are rebuilding our business. During the summer, we worked with over 40 pre-schools bringing our sand creations to 100's of children along with our new "Spin the Bike" spin art. We worked many Festivals, gained new relationships with Corporate Clients and even got back into a Resort.
Yes, we keep moving forward. Always looking for ways to improve our artwork and our activities and staying open to all possibilities. Steve is so creative and has come up with a way to incorporate sand casting with our laser cutter and now Resin Art too. Happy 2023 - Wishing everyone a Joyous, Profitable and Peaceful Year. We are grateful for each and everyone of you and look forward to what this new year will bring!
