I'm so Excited!!

Yes, I'm so excited! This is the beginning of my "blog". We meet so many fun and interesting people in our sandbox that I would like to share our experiences with you.

We are beginning our 3rd season March 1st and have so many new things to share!

First... we will be working with 3 charities this year. Last year we helped people create 100 different ribbons. We put aside 10% of each ribbon made to have a $100 donation to Ribbon Riders. Ribbon Riders, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to provide direct financial support to breast cancer patients in Central Florida. We are looking forward to working with them again this year by donating 10% of each ribbon purchased or made in 2016. They can be found on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/ribbonriders/,

or at (407) 796-PINK (7465) or at http://www.ribbonriders.org/

Our 2nd charity of choice is:

  • WOAMTEC FOUNDATION’S Courage to Dream Campaign firsts teaches them to complete and conquer the Courage to Dream Challenge, and then gives young adults who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned through no fault of their own immediate access to mentorship, tools, and resources to help them achieve their goals by connecting them with business leaders throughout their community. A graduate of this program will not only be inspired, educated, and motivated to break the cycle of victimization, but they will obtain a lifeline of support and tools to continue to strive for success and achieve their goals.

  • Website: http://www.woamtecfoundation.org

We will be donating 10% of each heart, small or large, that is made or purchased in 2016. We are hoping to raise enough money so that we may bring our sandbox to their next "Courage to Dream" conference where hopefully each teen attending will be able to create their own heart as a momento to have the "Courage to Dream".

Our 3rd charity of choice is:

Aristocats, Inc. - They are a network of foster homes who care for abandoned, surrendered, or stray felines who's lives are threatened or in danger. Our goal is to save as many lives possible and place them in caring loving homes and new environments. Their Facebook page is: https://www.facebook.com/aristocatsinc/?fref=ts&ref=br_tf. They can be reached also by telephone: (321) 441-6481 and website at: http://aristocats.rescuegroups.org/

We are looking forward to a great new season! We may have some new locations to report and we hope to participate in more birthday fun this year.
